SL1 serato box HUGE
wow, it’s been YEARS since I have seen or even used a serato box and I forgot how HUGE the box is… it is so much easier to have a mixer with a built in interface… the external interfaces and extra cables are a pain

SL2 is much smaller, sl1 is so big because of the mic input
My dilemma on deciding on either is portability. Totally agree the box is a pain and having it integrated is much less hassle…but what about when there’s no SSL mixer available? Then you need the box…so might as while have the box regardless?
I use traktor so this isn’t really an issue…BUT… I do have serato downloaded on my computer (FREE DOWNLOAD)…and I still setup crates, cue points, and build overviews just in case I have to use serato for a gig… but most the time if that’s the case the serato box is already at the venue…if not I just borrow from a buddy of mine
