Slicer like mod on s4
Hello anyone have an idea how can i map a seems like slicer mod on the s4 with the 4 sample play button please?! I’ve already mapped those to beatphase mode output…

Well there is a big difference between Beatslicer effect and Slicer feature. Serato Slicer type of requires multiple midi massages on single press of the button. Meaning, for that feature you need to use “beatjump” command and since for value you can set 1,2,4,8 etc there’s no way to jump for 3,5,6,7 beats without using some inmiddle software or buying VCI-400 EGE which can do all of this by firmware.
Would be nice if NI could add more values for beatjumps.

By using Traktor only and S4 - No. For example, if you want to jump for 3 beats, you’ll need to use beatjump+1 and beatjump+2 mapped to same button but since Traktor can’t send both of this commands at the same time it’s not doable. VCI-400 EGE can send multiple commands so this easy to get it working, there are some midi translators that can emulate this behavior but Traktor itself can’t do the job…
