smart mixer & ableton at the club
We have our first dig at a good sized club on Sunday. Im using the smart mixer set up with 2 decks and the cross fader to mix between. My question is when the crossfader is in the middle between deck a and b with both decks playing it is quite a bit quieter than when it is 100% A or B. Do you guys worry about this when play out? I love the smart mixer btw!
You need to adjust the crossfader curve if your getting that, right click the cross fader in Ableton and change to to your preferered curve setting 
I setup the Smart Mixer yesterday…but have a few questions too:
The setup worked first time on my Mac following Ean’s tut.
1)Do i need to be viewing both Apps at once? Is that needed?
Do i need a 2 Output sound card to test this? (getting mine on Monday…Audio 4)
How do I use it exactly? I think I might have missed a few theads on that part.
You have to assign a Knob for each deck right?
Lastly…are their any video’s to see it in action?
