Was really really wondering for a while why he (was attempting) scratches from that side of the vinyl, guess its a “never felt the real thing”… thing.
was his DJ drop a 3 year old? 
tbh it seems like he hasn’t been spinning for very long. i know i was just as bad when i first started (if not worse 
). as for the gear, i’ve been giving dj lessons for a while now and i think its good if a new comer invests in a solid piece of kit. it prevents them from blowing more money in the long run.
this dude just needs to take the initiative to research and practice up some more. the thing that scares me is that he feels he needs drop a tag every two seconds, to remind everyone that its his mix which would imply that he probably thinks that hes already a pretty good dj :\

Pretty sure GC isn’t the only place that sells equipment. Now I remember why I don’t come here anymore. -_-
Even if it was guitar center or not, isn’t the equipment the same equipment if he bought it elsewhere? I dont judge on the equipment people are using because:
a. Ive seen people rock out and kill sets with cheap equipment (toys even)
b. If somebody new has expensive equipment, who am I to judge? (they were probably just smarter about getting what they needed all in the beginning rather than spend lots of $$ like myself).
Let the dude have some fun. We were all there at one point in time. I remember when I first started and had no clue wth i was doing.
i should point out at this point. on the serato forum thread, the kid is bragging about all the gigs his videos are getting him in major clubs where he lives.

Umm im pretty sure GC is the ONLY place that has these speakers they are a one of kind build for GC and only have them in a few store locations!!
so if you get your gear at a music store which sells said gear … then … ???
