So I just landed a SL-1210 MK2… What now?

I just purchased a used SL-1210 MK2 on eBay for $355. I am going to hold off until May 30th so I can purchase TSP2 + Timecode combo for $119- as I already own an Audio 8 DJ.

Anyways, I just purchased a Scratchy seal record that I can practice on in the meantime.

I’m a complete noob with turntables- this is my first one. What should I be checking, testing, etc to make sure that the turntable is in 100% working condition so I can make sure I don’t have to ship it back?
