…it was my first proper mix CD (after 2 years of tapes) from 2001…I was only 17. Mixed using cheap ass Numark DD turntables and a Numark Bulldog mixer, with no eq. Have to say its not as bad as I was expecting! I’ll soundcloud it later!

LOL…I remember my first few ‘Mix tapes’. Tape recording vinyls, then pressing PAUSE, load the next vinyl, play…and unpause!

I used to LOVE the Gemini Executioner…that green LONG ass mixer.
Till I realised how SHYTE Gemini are.
heh heh, still got my Executioner tucked away in the loft somewhere, took some serious abuse over the years but never, ever failed me.

My first real mixer i bought myself was the Gemini BPM250.
Was cool…till the pots went…one by one.
Also played the SHIT outta the 626.
If someone shows up with my first mix, I would torch it and hunt down everyone who remembers it 
I mixed for a few years with a Roland DJ1000 before I bought myself a Numark DM1050, after that mixer I moved to controllers only.
this was my second mixer…it took me 2 attempts before I struck gold; DJM600 and my life changed forever.
Hahaha I’m rocking the 525 right now. Almost bought that bluedog years ago when I was first introduced to drum and bass and wanted to be a DJ.
