I saw one at BPM last year, what a mixer! They feel fantastic to use (the regular one) and the gold one was in a display case and it was like technology sex!
Thought they got a Gold 62 this year?
maybe so, but i saw this stumbling through the interwebz for DMC prizes and it blew my mind.
id prefer the gold technics any day over that
yeah it’d be an even more prestigious treat now that tech12s are discontinued.
even still, that mixer is a beaut!
yeah but they can’t keep giving away things that aren’t even made anymore. I’d love the techs, but I’d be completely content with this

Seems strange…as the decks were always given because that is what they just performed on, like taking what made them champion and made a special edition.
This is a random mixer, covered in gold. Still nice though before anyone jumps in and starts weeping at my comments.

Matte Black finish with Gold accents would have been nice, this thing is just … fugly, IMHO of course.
Then again I don’t like huge golden teeth, chains, rings, lowriders, bentleys, baggy jeans that ride halfway down the hamstring, baseball caps pointed to the side, or hip hop in pretty much any form.
Maybe its me thats weird 
The technics DMC mixer and Piano Black Gold’s I could just about handle.
