Software Options
What other software can I use for Live DJing other then Traktor. I need something that integrates with a VCI-100!

mixxx (is free)
and much more i just cant think ryt now
you can use the VCI-100 with anything that takes MIDI commands.
Hell, you can figure out a way to have it control Reason, if you wanted. Just remap the jogs to control, like, the filter sweeps or something 
which programs already have config files made so I wouldnt have to manually map each one ??
I’m sure you can find them around for anything but they have them up for Traktor on the website only. Dunno about the others.
Mixxx also comes with a template for the VCI-100.

Theres only one good one out there and its Traktor - mainly because of its decent midi implementation that other software i have used hasn’t even come close too.

Well, got to be honest, currently I am more partial to Traktor.
But if you’re just starting out, I recommend not blasting away the big bucks with any chance of DJing not be the thing for you.
Regarding the Flange only, It’s intended to mix, that’s it… No fancy stuff, just learn how to beatmatch.
deckadance is good and has native vci-100 support but as stated above traktor reigns supreme!
I agree, buying traktor and then finding out a couple of weeks later you don’t like djing would be tragic to you wallet. So mixxx maybe the best starter.
