… so it was about time to ditch the numark controller since ive been getting better bookings, it was time for an upgrade. picked both of these up brand new yesterday, a lil sum sum for my birthday.
a new xone:92 mixer and kontol x1 (w/ bag)

sam ash had their display one on sale for $999, since i bought the x1 and case also they gave me the whole package for under 1300 after taxes … 
could not leave that offer.

I’m curious, which Numark controller did you have that you thought this was a good upgrade because you’re getting “better bookings”.
I’m curious to know what the popular opinion is regarding various controllers.
this is my original controller, a Numark total control. i used this alongside with an lpd8. the reason I say upgrading is that I am no longer mixing internally through traktor and now mixing externally using a mixer (since most of the venues are equipped with a DJM-900 or equivalent). It sounds more whole and its more of my style. Running a windows based PC, I had latency issues (especially more if I was trying to mix internally). I understand that I can do the same and mix externally with my old controller but, the Numark was giving up on me and the top left set of buttons were crapping out. It was about time for an upgrade.
