Something that has bugged me with Traktor

At the end of a song the song just stops, I want it to go back to the start of the song and stop. Can I do that in Traktor this seems like something that should be able to be done.

You mean you want it to go back to the starting point of the track rather than sit at the end?

Exactly!!

I can see that option really messing me up in a mix.

never really bothered me … i don’t see the point unless you plan on playing the same track again

True, you may possibly think you loaded a new track but never did and went ahead with your blend only to find out you’re playing Levels by Avicii twice in a row.

I would notice that after my nose started bleeding after the first 10 seconds.

Well I could just load it again if I want to play the song again. I’m trying to figure out how to save a mouse click and get away from using the pc as a transport control. But it bug the mess out of me that it does that lol.

So you want it to load the next song on the playlist or go back to the start of the same song? I don’t get it.

I also don’t get it.

Something you can do is make the track “endless”, then the track will not stop at the end, it will keep playing with no sound forever. This might give you the opportunity to hit the Load Marker hot cue and get to the beginning again, or whatever marker you use at the start of each track.

You can do it on the settings.

speaking of bugs, i think the flashing end track warning bug should be a little higher on the list, sorry mate :stuck_out_tongue:

I need fade-out markers without this flashing! :rage:

Or at least any colored marker, who said I need to fade-out or fade-in? Sometimes I just need RED.

I too can’t understand why you would need to go back to the beginning of the track that just ended…

Maybe to loop a recorded set?

You could loop the whole track.

You could drop the track in an empty playlist (so it’s only contents were this one track) and enable “Load next at end of track”.

Either technique would repeat the same song over and over all night long without you doing anything except avoid being killed by people going slowly insane.

Not sure why you would want to do this either. As a working club DJ every track has a hot cue on the hook or chorus so I can repeat it if I need a little extra time (or if the track is going over really well). That’s all I’ve ever needed.

Thanks for the suggestions I will most likely use them, Youre 100% right I could use a hot cue. it just baffles me why the track doesnt go the the beginning (not play) at the end of the song.

For what reason tho. It has no beneficial use unless you wanna play the same song…

I just put a loop at the end

Yes! Please NI fix this immediately. All i want do do is mix the same two tracks for 4 hours. Is this too much to ask?

What have you used in the past that does do that? Just curious.
