Soundcard for vci 100

Helo, i have a vci 100 about 3 weeks and i am wondering what kind of external soundcard should i buy so i can use headphones. Price doesnt matters, i am looking for real qualiti. If anione knows? Thanks

Try searching the forums a bit, this question has been answered many times.

you can also try the main page too, because there was an article about this.

I would say audio 4 or audio 8

Why not a Maya USB 44..small, portable and quite

good.

Features

  • 4 input channels and 4 output channels with RCA connectors
  • -10dBV input / output level (unbalanced)
  • optical S/PDIF digital output with Miniplug connector
  • headphone output (1/8" connector) with 60mW amplifier
  • ASIO 2.0 and CoreAudio support (4 inputs / 4 outputs)
  • MME / WDM support (2 inputs / 2 outputs)
  • Standard USB connection to PC or Mac
  • compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Mac OS X
  • compatible with all important DJ software applications
  • compatible with all important professional audio applications
  • compact, portable and lightweight design

If price doesn’t matter I would go for RME Fireface.

i’ve had really good experience with the echo audiofire2, not so much with the maya 44.

Does anyone see any problems with using a digidesign Mbox as an external soundcard when using the vci-100? I have one left over from when I switched to the Mbox2 Pro. Thanks.

edit: nevermind, i found it in another thread. sorry.
