soundcard solution? traktor and akai apc40

hi folks , quick question. my homie has been borrowing my z1 to use it as a soundcard only, while mixing on an akai apc40. whats gonna be the best option for him as a cheap soundcard , that can output to rca? he does not need a traktor license, so im hoping to find something decent but less expensive than a audio 2.

maybe like an M-audio M track. or possibly the behringer u-control.

i feel like the audio 2 is a better option, even though it costs a little bit more.

I’m not sure where you’re located, but i usually see Audio 2’s for around 50-60 bucks on Craigslist.

Yeah, bought mine for 35gbp from UK.

Also, older versions (Audio 2 DJ, Traktor Audio 2 mk1) appear to have higher quality Cirrus Logic A/D converters unlike mk2 so take that into consideration.
