Soundcloud, Mixcloud-Alternatives?
We’ve got about 13 hours of Midi Fight Club madness to upload for you guys.
The Soundcloud-founder told me personally that they don’t have the ressources to give out a premium-account for free so Mixcloud it would be. However getting all the tracklists would take forever.
Are there any other services where I could post it?
umph… 13 hours… i dont know, but howabout podcasts? cant we make 7x2 podcasts? Again, i dont know about podcasts. Just a thought.
Had to reduce your set to 96 kbps to make it not hit the 100MB limit of Mixcloud.
I guess they’ll soon rise the limit to 200MB so I can re-upp a proper version.
Please just be sure to send me the proper, good version, aight?
I got my setlist in the history, so this shouldnt be a problem from my side. Question is, will shiftee or strip steve be able to post their setlist? And what about the ableton rockers that used clips? I´m sure there has been one or two
btw, rendering is still going strong. This will be a long night again
I sit here staring at the progress bar, and i have some sparetime now and wouldnt mind to receive one link or two if possible/ in case you already upped them
You get the 320kbps one.
Well I guess I’ll just ID some tracks of shiftee and Strip Steve on my own and leave the rest out
shiftee´s set aint that hard to ID, but im afraid strip steves set was too much clips alltogether, speaking from my memory
^320kbps, <3 it. thx
What about setting up a podomatic page for each set. You can put a plus behind any gmail address and it sends it to the same address, but most sign up forms see it as a different email. For example I could use photojojo+djtt at gmail dot com whenever I give my email out on the board. It still goes to photojojo at gmail dot com, but I can filter it out. That way we could download the sets and not be tied to our computers to listen to them on Mixcloud. I think the podomatic limit is 500mb on free pages.
Yeah Strip Steve used a lot of clips (and just one tiny controller).
Check your PMs.
@photojojo: One account for everything would be cool. Thats my intention.
Just got validated at Fairtilizer.
I think that is better than MixCloud.
Thanks for your suggestions but I decided for Fairtilizer.
They got unlimited storage, the possibility to download, a playlist-widget.
They even support us with a Pro-Account which means → custom player.
You’ll see the result next week on the blog
