Speaker subwoofers? Recommendations? Not too pricy!
I have two Behringer 12 inch speakers. Obviously they don’t provide enough bass power for me. Any recommendations on subwoofers? Also not too pricy but like give me links if you can! Also how would i plug it in to the subwoofers, with what? thanks 
cheapest you’re going to get new is the behringer subwoofer for a little under 500. next cheapest is probably the mackie thump sub which is like 700

you just plug the out from your mixer into the sub which has a built in crossover then plug the outs from the sub into the speakers.
does it have XLR inputs on the sub? using the S4?
Why don’t you look at a picture or read for yourself? That’s all I would do- It’s like when I worked in retail and customers asked me questions I just read the damn box.
The sub has a built in crossover and you set the level of the sub on the back of it and just plug your main outs into the sub and then the outs from the sub to the monitors.
You don’t need any other hardware (unless you want to get fancy for production and get a monitor controller/room correction EQ like the KRK ergo but it isn’t needed). So on my Dj setup I crank the sub up and my studio setup it is tuned to be accurate and flat.
I have the gen 2 sub for my production setup and it has a 1/4" foot switch jack so with a $15 foot switch hooked up you can hit the switch to bypass the sub and crossover then hit it again to bring it back to hear the impact the sub is having on the mix or if you want to mix without it. very cool feature on the gen 2 that my 1st gen sub doesn’t have that I have been using for production.
build em yourself. Subs are easy to do.

Good info. I’m actually building a Bill Fitzmaurice Tuba 30 sub and wasn’t sure what amp to go with. There’s a couple of subwoofer amp plates in those links that look like they’ll be perfect.
Btw I demo’d these out at guitar center and wasn’t impressed at all. From all the research that I’ve done it looks like the tuba subs are gonna be the best bang for the buck. Only downside is that you gotta build em.

I have a gen 1 and gen 2 10s and gen 1 rp8s. They are both good, and that depends if you are asking for DJing or for production.
