Stanton 120C???
hey guys
i had a pair of pdx 2000’s they died…
got a pair of tech 1200’s i ended up selling one… i have no clue why i did that
but now I’m kinda in a tight situation cause i was gonna buy a new pair of techs but there going for ridiculous prices on craigslist and ebay…
so i found a pair of stanton 120c’s on craigslist going for $120 each… any experience with them? anyone
or should i just save up for techs
btw… 150s are wayyyy to heavy (mobile dj)
I just got myself some secondhand stanton t-120 (the one with the straight arm) and they are amazing. I use to have a pair of 1200’s. To be honest , they are as good if not better. A lot of people will say the techs are better without even trying the stantons. Your gonna feel and appreciate the extra torque. Also good to point out that the pitch is good. No lag, super precise and it has 8-15-50 %. All in all it’s an amazing buy for 120$ each!
Something you might want to keep in mind is that if you’ve already got one Technics, getting another brand for your second turntable might end up feeling a bit weird, as it’s not going to feel like the Technics. I mixed on one Technics and some other off-brand Direct-Drive Turntable for a while, and there was a noticeable difference going between them.
