I am a bedroom dj, who plays house-nu disco-techno at local parties. Up to now i made it with mixtrack,IO and laptop. I’d like to ditch the laptop - no need caryng lots of stuff around. So i was thinking (since my budget is quite tight - i dont get paid for DJing i do it for pleasure) of buying myself a stanton scs 4dj/second hand/. What do you think about it - does it make sense? A comparable two deck dj media player for Numark /mixdeck/ or Pioneer /Aero and etc./ costs much more!

You can get an SCS.4DJ for next to nothing now. And it’s a solid product for the kind of DJing you’re talking about. I think you’d probably be pretty happy with it.
