Stanton SCS.D3 “DaSkratch”

for those of you who are interested…thanks skratchworx.

looks cool, not a lot known about it

I cant watch the video, it’s not working, can anyone else see it?

yeh it worked for me

well, it certainly looks intriguing but common:
a midi controller next to your turntable- thats not exactly revolutionary.

let me see what I can dig up.

Looks like a thinner version of the SCS.1m.

Maybe nem0nic knows about this one?

lol, work doesn’t allow me to view youtube videos. I guess that why I could see it. I’ll have to watch at home.

He does indeed.

Something about stanton gear other than needles just seems like a waste of time and money . Could have been their rep @ Remix hotel during the WMC 2 years ago he just seemed like a sleazy salesman who had no working knowledge of their product .

Since I can’t see the video, is this the controller?

Damn you Non Disclosure Agreements!

Oh oh oh oh oh!

Damn son, how can you forget the T.120C, the SCS.1d and SCS.1m?

Not a non disclosure. I don’t need those anymore because now if I leak something they’ll just fire me.

So that controller that I posted is not the one we are looking at? I think that I am in forum limbo sometimes.

Stanton SCS.D3 “DaSkratch”

The Stanton SCS.D3 “DaSkratch” entry level controller, because all DJs do is scratch records. Sure. Officially now BORED with all these controllers going on and on about how “dope” and “skratch-y” they are while reinventing old ways of playing vinyl.

Can we please move the fuck on now?

In it’s favor it does look spill proof. Good for DJs with shaky beer hands.

Looks like a top view of The Starship Enterprise

looks the same to me…

The device over all isn’t that crash hot - the maker or breaker will be the gestures that the pad supports for doing actions, so its really hard to come to any sort of conclusion to usefulness of this device.

Agreed. I think a lot of hardware companies are playing catchup.

new video with Traktor

If they want $100 for it, I might buy it. But you can tell from the picture that you’d need a couple of them to mix and you’d probably another unit to control you effects. I mean super knobs and layered controls are great, but I like to use that to do cool stuff not just to keep up with the basics. Why don’t these companies try and make more liberal use of knobs and buttons? Don’t they realize that their job is to make the cool software more tactile? And for f-Sake… I don’t want to scratch!
