Stanton Turntables?
Anybody on here use the ST-150s or STR8-150s?

i had str8-150’s they were great decks imo, but were bought alongside cdjs and slowly stopped being used…
Really? I thought they were 1200s, since theres like 4 1200s in that video
Yeah, Qbert had a pair of str8-150’s in the latest video, there was also a pair or 1200’s.
I own a pair of str8-150’s and love them, amazing torque, non click pitch sliders feel amazing and whilst I tend not to use the other features an awful lot (start/brake adjust, choice of 8/25/50% pitch) they certainly have there use and place on the turntable.
They also feel solid and are very heavy so they aren’t going anywhere. Which also has a downside as if you plan on taking them anywhere, it can turn into a bit of a mission.
I have owned a pair of technics and used various 1200’s/1210’s in different venues and whilst they are an a amazing turntable they are certainly not going to be used forever, and I can imagine thats where the stanton 150 will (eventually/maybe) come into the limelight of being the best turntable available. However, this wont happen for a long time yet, almost like clubs replacing CDJ1000 with 2000’s, although vinyl is unfortunately dyeing out…
I just bought a pair of ST-150s, i wanted 1200s, so i decided to go with the S arm.
Just got my Traktor Audio 10 too.
