Static Electricity and 1.3 firmware upgrade
What precautions should i take before attempting the upgrade so i dont fry the circuitry with static?

Seriously though, I make circuit boards for a living and you have to treat them pretty badly to kill them with static. Believe me I’ve tried. That was a fun day in work…
As long as you don’t move about the house with the stuff in your hands, trailing wires along the ground, you should be fine. I find its liquid thats the bigger problem with electronics.
+1 to what Mr Steve said. Also if you’re REALLLLLY unsure about it, just get a wriststrap or touch some metal.
