Still can’t figure out which firmware I have.

I read the FAQ about figuring out which firmware you have but it is still unclear to me.

Here are some clues to help:

I have a black VCI-100 with orange arcade buttons. It does not have the DTT overlay but has the original Vestax overlay. There is no green sticker on back.

The button to the left of the filter knob is green when first powering up, when I press it, it turns blue, then back to green. The FAQ didn’t say anything about blue/green just on/off so I am unsure what to think here.

If I spin my jog wheel, the sensor stays on until the wheel stops whether my hand is on it or not.

Can anyone help figure out which firmware this is?

Did you buy it from DJTT? Is it a homemade arcade mod? If it’s an arcade edition from DJTT then you have 1.3. 1.4 came out in September 2010. Did you buy it after that?

I bought it from craigslist, Im really not sure who did the buttons. Is it possible to tell from the info I gave regarding the button toggle and jog wheel?

The button toggle tells me it’s 1.3

In this video, he says about the button on the right side “If its not done, this side will not toggle”

My left button is toggling but my RIGHT button is not, just like the unit pictured in the video.

Does this still mean its 1.3?

I just noticed you wrote the article about cleaning faders. As I was working on this, my crossfader seemed to completely stop working!?! Would you mind checking this thread?
