strange problem with mixxx

strange problem with mixxx

I know most if not all of you aren’t use mixxx, but I’m hoping some of you have used it in the past. I cant seem to get my tracks to load when I drag them/click and load them. With and without a controller. Everything works fine with the controller (bcd300).

Ive switched my laptop to ubuntu, mostly because I wanted to mess around with linux. I don’t want to dual boot, and running virtual DJ through wine isn’t an option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ubuntu does not come with the codecs you need! this is for legal reasons however they are easy to download, there avaliable though the apps store type thing or you can google audio codecs for ubuntu and install them yourself. I take it you know how to compile programs?
