Strange question What would you do and buy in London?

Hey everybody, here is a weird question I have.

So I´m giving Ableton lessons in a Univeristy here in Buenos Aires. It’s a new program we started to offer in leisure time in the university.

Anyways, the person in charge of this department of Art and Technology asked me the following question:

If you were going to London for a few days, where would you go? (pubs, nightclubs, festivals)
What would you buy yes or yes? (related with art and technology)

So as I have never been to london I kinda hoped you could help me with this questions.
What would be your answers?!

Thanks!

I would go to Fabric and by beer.

Second.

Then maybe a beigel on Brick Lane when I was done.

isn’t an english breakfast legendary?

Legendary doesn’t always equal good

From my 3 years over there I found the 24 hour beigel shops in the east end were the best breakfast either on the way home or the next morning…

English breakfast is a must:

2 bacon, 2 sausage, fried egg, mushrooms, 2 hash browns, baked beans, black pudding, HP sauce and 2 rounds of toast. Oh and all washed down with a good old cuppa tea!!

Bacon and cream cheese bagels are perfect any time of the day!

I have given tea its chance…I really really have…but nope…Coffee it is!

About as legendary as heart attacks.

What’s black pudding?

congealed pigs blood, fat and spices…basically. an acquired taste.

I’ll stick to menudo and chorizo…

ahahhaha, you made me hungry!

What i would do is look for a train station…

And i would buy a one way ticket out of there…

Born and lived in London my whole life up intill a few years back and its not all its hyped up to be

Eat some roast duck in bayswater. Those restaurants are BEAST.

I would go to Plastic People and see Theo Parrish and buy a ton of records at Phonica and BM Soho. In fact that’s what I did a few weeks ago. Highly recommended

Byron Burger.

London is over crowded, over priced and full of lots of people who if you died in the street would probably tut at you about blocking their route.

I play there alot - I say to the guy driving me every time it makes me nervous how insane the drivers are there, they will just stop, turn around in the middle of the street and expect everyone to wait. Or jump lane instantly without letting you know haha!

HOWEVER - it is worth experiencing once in your life, there are many many cool places away from all the above I’ve just listed. Nice little bars and places to eat that you can’t find anywhere else in this country - off the top of my head I can’t list any; deeming this reply useless.

London is what it is, I could never live there but get the right advice from people who know it and you’ll have a cool time  Good luck!
