Strangest place you’ve seen a DJ?

About a couple of weeks ago while doing my laundry I walk by the local health food store and I hear music thought it was a jukebox. I look up theres a guy on Serato spinning Madonna lol not what I’d expect a DJ to be playing in my hood for sure. I walk by the heath food store yesterday and he’s back I guess hes got a residency there now. I think a health food store is the strangest place and I’ve seen DJ’s in barber shops and clothing stores too wheres the strangest place you seen a DJ.

idk i once DJ’d on a boat… yes, i played “im on a boat”…

never really saw someone spinnin somewhere that straight up surprised me tho.

Magic Kingdom, Disney world.

were they playing some classic mousercize or what?

i thinks its awesome! why play a stupid CD or radio when you can have live tracks going!

if the supermarket can afford it, i say go for it!

Have a guy who brings a lighting rig, speakers, laptop, and controller and sets up on the boardwalk near me during the Summer. Not sure if he gets paid, or just shows up and plugs in. Amazing soulful house music all night long.
Outside of that, a salon near my old office in SoHo had 1200’s set up in the window. Was tempted to stop in to test out my new stash from Satellite a few times.

you should do it man. Everything is better with house music, haircuts, shopping, laundry.

This is what I envision when Im doing my laundry.

When manumission was running in Ibiza they had a separate DJ for the bathrooms!

Definitely. But that was 20 years ago. Could be a good concept though (as if I didn’t think about it . )

I just recently DJed from a balcony in the great hall of an 11th century castle in the west of England. I thought it was going to sound awful because of all the stone and marble reflecting all the sound but there was enough damping on the walls in the form of old paintings and tapestries that it actually sounded alright.

I am also due to DJ later this year from the pulpit of an old 12th century church in London. The acoustics there might be troublesome too.

now thats what you call an “old school dj” haha 11th century!

Haha isn’t there a few pictures floating around of some gigs at rotten ronnies… Dj happy meal

Lol I have some pa gear and often thought be funny show up to a parking lot out of back of box truck and jam out lol

In a marketplace…
Next to fish and cheese, 8AM haha

I heard this track dropped by a DJ at a department store (Myer) in my home town. Bit of a wtf moment.
