I got dropbox
I got the poison
and the remedy
oh and soul
eh whatever
I am in
If I am going first which is totally ok by me - I kind of would like to know what bpm you are aiming at
if I am going third or some other I would like to suggest somewhere around 123…
I would love to, but really busy at the moment. If you are struggling to fill all 4 then I will happily jump in, but if you get 4 then I will sit out this time. Also happy to go in any spot.
We don’t have any deadlines we’re aiming for or anything - it’s just for fun. I figure give everyone about a week to get their mix in. And if you choose slots 3 or 4, that still gives you at least a few weeks from now.
Alright, we’re all set then! bieberatmytaco and zzzuperfly …let me know if you want slot 1 or 4, or we’ll get this thing underway. The all-important opening and closing set. First come, first serve!
zzzuperfly, to answer your question (which I didn’t see initially), I’d say because we’re aiming more for the deeper end of things, I’d say the 120 - 125 bpm range is the sweet spot. But since you’re starting things off, you’re setting the tone
There really is no one set way, but you will have to wait for the others to complete their mix. So I figure it’ll go like this:
#1 records their mix (this is the easiest one, of course hah) and uploads to Dropbox.
#2 loads up #1’s mix and #2 would mix into the end of #1’s mix. But #2 would start recording right before they mix their first song onto the prior mix - no need to record everything #1 has already recorded. Then uploads that file to Dropbox.
3 loads up #2’s mix and 3 would mix into the end of #2’s mix… etc etc
So at the end, we’ll have four separate files. And then I was thinking I’ll just take the four files and merge them into one two-hour mp3 when it’s all said and done. That make sense and work for everyone?
sorry for the delay - it is a busy week with the kids last week in school before summer break and whatever and tonight it is soccer (sweden - Faroe Islands - since we lost against austria this game is suddenly important - it will be horrible I am sure) - I try to get it done for you tomorrow
