Super Faders & 360 Knobs

Super Faders & 360 Knobs

Does any one know where I can purchase some super faders like the ones on the MF Pros as well as some 360 rotary knobs?

Oh boy. A superfader is a software thing.. And rotary encoders can be bought at any decent electronics store.

yep, super faders are regular faders that have the firmware in the controller to make them super which is transmit multiple midi notes throughout the range.

While the above is true (and also what is used in the MF Pros for obvious reasons such as cost and complexity) there are also multi-gang potentiometers available, actually allowing you to control several analog inputs with one mechanical control.

Sweet thank you guys! =]
I will post pics in a few months when I have finished my controller.

Also, 360 knobs are called encoders.

hahahahahahahahaha

…?

You should totally give up djing and become a comedian

No one wants to listen to me bitch about shit for hours.

Check out Jim Ferguson (Aussie Comedian).

Off sides…its like one long drunken rant…but totally excellent!

Not women friendly tho…so watch it with the boys.

Don’t know where to ask so i ask here.

I have two of this slidepotentiometers (http://www.alps.com/WebObjects/catalog.woa/E/HTML/Potentiometer/SlidePotentiometers/RS__1/RS6011Y1600Q.html#top), but i don’t know which is GND and which is +5V.
On the bottom of the page there is the circuit. I’m just sure about 2.
Is it important to seperate them or can i connect them to where i want to?

Word Mama bird.
