Supplemental reading?

Just wondering what ppl are reading or which books ppl find interesting. Looking for books to read or audible books to listen to. The last book I read was, “The Obstacle is the way” by Ryan Holiday. Gave me a few great ideas for tackling challenges in my day to day life. Before that I read Divergent.

Any recommendations appreciated. Short 300/400 page books are preferred.

Beyond Beatmatching: Take Your DJ Career to the Next Level

Thanks for the rec.

As cliche as it sounds, I’m currently reading “Last Night a DJ Saved my Life” its a extremely in depth, historical look at the DJ (from before the beginnings of radio to modern day) that spans multiple genres. It may be a bit longer than 300-400 pages but it is definitely worth it.

I usually stick to fiction. The post apocalypse, horror and historical are among my favourites but right now I’ve just started A Song of Ice & Fire (Game of Thrones)

Thanks TJpruden i just remembered I had wanted to read that book awhile back but it fell of my radar.

@JZed i’m into scifi post apocalypse horror too any favs you’d like to share

Some of my faves, but I don’t remember the authors off the top of my head.

Swan Song - Apoc
The Stand - Apoc
The Road - Apoc
Blindness - Apoc
Zone One - Zombies
Apocalypse Z - Zombies
I Am Legend - Vamps

That’s all I remember right now, I’d have to check my collection for more.

If you’re looking for sci-fi:

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, by Philip K. Dick
We, by Yevgeny Zamyatin (if you like dystopian fiction)
Solaris, by Stanislaw Lem

For horror, check out The Shining by Stephen King if you haven’t already read it. I’ve also heard It by the same author is a must-read for horror fans, but haven’t checked it out yet.

I’m gonna have to read The Shining one day to see how it is compared to the movie… That’s after I’m done with A Song of Ice & Fire, which I’ve only just started.

Just picked up “Swan Song”, “The Road” and “We Are Anonymous” the next will be “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep”. Starting out with We Are Anonymous. Picked it up on a whim and I can’t put it down. Wasn’t expecting to be as good.
