oh yeah… another thing that helps is to keep everthing super organized.
not only do i organize my new arrivals in seperate folders by Date/Month, but within my say “December '09” folder I have seperate folders for the individual genres and a “AAA” folder for the stand out tunes that resonate with me most on first listen. Songs tend to lose their wow factor after you’ve heard them so many times, so I try to make sure i organize my AAA folder based on my initial reaction to the song instead of later on when i’ve become climatized to the sound.
