Switch Between Decks A & C - B & D On VC1 100

Hi,

I have setup my mapping so that all I need to do now is assign a button on each side of the Vestax to use 4 decks. Anything that is related to deck control has been duplicated and the deck adjusted to allow for C & D.

So I am going to assign the Vinyl mode buttons for toggling between decks A & C and B & D.

Could someone tell me what I have to input into the controller manager to achieve this please?

Is there a mappping for the Vinyl mode that I have to delete? I have searched but could not see the obvious.

Wow does no one have any idea how to do this or am I asking something that does not make any sense?

set the vinyl buttons each to a free modifier (e.g. M#1 set to 1/toggle)
now put the conditions of anything that is related to A/B to M1=0 and anything from C/D to M1=1

it’s helpful to put an output message on the modifiers to control the led to know in which modifier state you are..

I would say to set the modifier to toggle rather than hold. It’s a bit more complicated to do this but you basically need two commands.

When M1=0, button>direct>set to value:1
When M1=0, button>direct>set to value:0

How do I put an output message for the LED’s?

Thanks for helping out guys, it is much appreciated.

I am trying to get this side sorted out so I can build my set as I am playing at a festival in the UK next month..

Once I can see how it is done I will be able to continue myself. I have attached the tsi file that I have been working on. The only changes that I have made is allowing 4 decks which still don’t seem to change using the vinyl mode button. I have also noticed now that the volume fader for deck B & D are not working even though they are correct. I have tried to use the learn button but it will not work. I have added the control for the LED’S following what mistertuckshop said and the other part after weltraumpapst advice. Hope that I got it right.

The only other button that I have changed is the effect button in the top right corner next to the master level. I have used this so I can switch the library to full screen.

Perhaps if you look at this you can advise where I am going wrong.

I can’t seem to change the button to toggle. It does not give that option.

How does it know to switch say from deck A to deck C when all that is showing is Modifier 1 - in - global - hold - ch01 note c7 - M1=0 with added 1 to button options.
