i have been reading a lot lately about syncing ableton and traktor and from what i can tell the way to do it is by sending the master over soundflower into ableton. I am mixing externally with a djm 400 and using a maschine as midi. I want to know if i can send the master from my external mixer into ableton. I have a audio 8 sound card and a macbook if this helps.
I think you do that by usin the fx send/return on your mixer. Or you could route each deck frm traktor into ableton then each channel out of ableton to your mixer. If your mixing 4 dcks externally with one audio 8 you will have to do the later.
