Technics 1200 stylus light
So i just got a set of 1200s, they are working great apart from one stylus light which isnt working. Anyone know of a quick fix or a way around replacing the bulb? looks pretty tricky..
the pop up light can only be accessed if you remove the bottom portion of the turntable.
there are plenty of videos on how to do this on youtube.
a few years ago, i replaced a bent tonearm on my mk5 turntable, without having prior knowledge, after watching a 10 minute video on youtube
the popup light repair is very simple to do.

You can get color LED mods for all of the lights on the 1200.
I would look into those as well since you will already be taking the unit apart
