I was given this turntable, Can i use it for a DVS system?
sure why not?
As long as it’s got RCA outs and the needles are in decent shape it should work fine. If you want to use Traktor Scratch you’ll need an Audio 4/8 or a Scratch certified mixer.
While you certainly can use it, you wouldn’t want to. It lacks pitch control which is very important in a turntable for djing.
does it have pitch control? how strong is the motor? make sure to get a slipmat for cueing (i know that’s kind of obvious but some people think we all have rubber mats under our records, lol)
