More of a laid back proggy house sounds, but good none the less. Sounds solid in all aspects, could add a bit more depth to the mix maybe for the feeling it has and maybe some automation
Thanks for the suggestions, i will probably end up mixing it 1000 times befor eI am happy with the way it sounds ![]()
Good, but definitely not techno.
I’m from the midwest lol so still trying to get the boundaries between genre’s down. So would it be more of an IDM track?
What are you talking about? Techno was born in the midwest! And like I said, it’s more of a proggy house tune than anything else I’d say
Yeah in Detroit, unfortunately I am in Kansas City, which has absolutely no electronic scene whatsoever ![]()
I like it dude! Nice and deep, keep working on it! I’d spin this in the beginning of a set without a doubt.
And this would go in my book as Minimal, Deep House.
Love it! You now have a new follower on soundcloud.
And for the genre hubbub; I hear this as some deep house-techno cross-breed.
Oh, and I’m a HUGE Carl Sagan fan, just to get that outta the way.
Very nice (and yes, I’m a fan of Carl as well… which is why I checked the thread). What did you use to make it?
I like these types of tunes, even though I don’t have nearly enough to ever mix 'em.
I love sagan, he is inspiring me in every way imaginable. This was made in Ableton Live 8, I’m still learning the ropes on it ![]()
Agreed. I don’t think this is remotely near prog-house.
Dig it.
Would love a harder (techno?
) remix version with a big, beefy kick.
is this sampled or did u use plugins? or something else?
I sampled it from a Carl Sagan Audiobook, I listen to em while I’m at work ![]()
Putting a big kick in there isn’t a bad idea, I think I’ll mess with that a bit.
