No matter how big it is, and how many buttons it has, you cannot beat tactile feedback.

edit: I don’t think tactile feedback is going to keep anyone from djing, the ipad is coming up on things quick. this looks like it has a lot of latency issues, and probably isn’t worth the effort when you can just go get dj software for ipad and touch screen os anyway.

Agreed. I doubt real DJs will let it get to the point where something like that becomes common place.
You might see Guetta and his pals on something like that though.
Baguettaa can eat my chode, some guy tonight told me to turn off Eric Prydz and put on “Some proper DJs like David Guetta”. I nearly punched him. And he’s the exact kind of person that wouldwould see Guetta using one of these and then be all “ERMAHGERDGERD he’s the most futuristic DJ EVAR” kindkind of like when daft punk showed off their lemur setup.

We all know its not about what equipment really works and for who.. its all about showing off how much money you can dump on one hobby, project, profession, without any real purpose of it aiding you or anyone

You know as much as I would never use one, I’d still love to have a go on one. In fact it wouldn’t surprise me if Daft Punk used something like this if they ever toured again, because their shows are 70% visuals.
