The Harder Thread
Alright, never seen one of these here before and I kinda wanted to see who here was into hardstyle and hardcore, and maybe share a few tunes? I’ll start, new Zany tune!
and a classic!

In my country (Belgium) hardstyle fans are THE worst kind of people (apart from killers and rapists,… of course)
They are very aggressive at parties, one guy threw a punch at me for spilling some beer on his precious wife beater. Hardstyle fans are the chavs of belgium.
But I don’t want to hate on the music you love, hardstyle is very catchy when you listen to it, you are instantly “in the vibe”
But I would never play hardstyle myself unless the crowd demanded it, altough I like to use this one tune in my sets DJ Coone - words from the gang
But I 've always wondered, what are hardstyle fans like in other countries ?
If you feel offended by my comments about hardstyle fans in Belgium, check this out
I rest my case.
That photo/photos you point to looks like a bunch of mostly young normal people. Some are visibly schmangled, but they all look just dandy.
Lol, that’s some wild stuff. I don’t know how well that would go over on our side of the pond.
Well those pictures were taken at a mainstream party, I was there too. I’m not saying all the people in the pics were hardstyle fans. And last but not least in my honest opinion, walking around in a public place indoors, at night without a shirt or anything on, with the word hardstyle tattooed on your chest with the lonsdale font, is far from normal my good sir.
Can’t say I like Hardstyle much, Hardcore Techno is what got me into EDM though, even though lately I’ve gravitated more towards the old-school style Hardcore, can’t say I’m too impressed with the new MoH stuff for example.
(Forgotten Moments is an awesome tune though, I think Ophidian did a decent remix of that one as well)
I got to say, that looks like a shitload more fun than the parties we have today where the music is esentially one big anthem-style breakdown and the DJ is pretending to be a superstar.
Haha, its my guilty pleasure!
I just sold a bunch of my old Deathchant records and will be replacing them with .mp3 versions. I can’t wait to use my Beat Masher on them.
Wow ok. When I was young(er) I partied hard. I too walked around topless and dripping with sweat, because I danced for 6 hours straight, off my tits. And the only aggression I ever saw was facial expressions, not attitude - just look at the Zany crowd, they all seem fairly happy folk to me (at the party). Yeah sure the music has some inherent aggressive elements, but it’s focussed on creating a hyped-up state of ecstasy. And sure some of it will spill over, it always does, but there’s extremists everywhere. To the beholder of the HARDSTYLE tattoo, he will learn his lesson at 40.
How about some more Zany! ![]()
Hardstyle here in america is mixed with aggressive jackasses and just harder vibing shufflers and while were on the topic XD heres a hardstyle track that I made

The chap who taught me to DJ is a die hard fan…always will be.
He has a pretty badass Hardcore track himself!
He has EVERY last CD…the biggest most complete collection of a genre I have seen…in my life.
Thunderdome - All of em
Terrordrome - All of em
EarthQuake
Funny how ID&T was basically ONLY Hardcore back in the day…now its totally ghey.
I am not SUCH a big fan, but know the sound I like.
My favourite is Neophyte and Rob Gee.
Favourite Hardcore DJ name?..DJ Wax Weazel.
