The Nakamichi Unit that Time Forgot: Badass Old School Desktop Computer Speakers

The year was 1996. It was a time before USB but after people understood computers were going to be a thing. Nakamichi - a company known for a cassette deck that had audiophiles wetting their pants in ecstasy - decided to get in on this “computer” craze with a set of desktop speakers with a cool space-age design but inexplicably molded in that off white plastic they were making Macs out of in the day. The unit features a subwoofer and two satellite speakers, and the design is straight out of some 1970s version of what someone thought 2003 would look like. Part Death Star part Transformer monster, you know you want these satellites on your desk (and some paint will brighten up that plastic look!). $40 and you pick up. Make it $30 coz I like your style.

I want to sell these in LA if possible; add shipping if you want them to touch ground anywhere else.

(And yes this thing does sound really good!)

how far are you from pico and la cieniga?

Maybe 5 miles?
