i’m most excited about the recording/editing features. it could potentially really streamline my workflow.

you can do that now. Its no different. I can record things on a CD and just press play. Or my comp and play someones sound cloud, or a mix I did before.

I think it’s interesting.
While I still personally like Serato’s GUI the best by far out of all the different options available, this is a nice minimalistic setup that really has some potential. Because, honestly, I like to be able to either mess around with a GUI, or have it be /perfect/.
I guess it’s something that came out of my gaming days. I spent hours and hours setting things up so that they would be perfect visually, and I like to take that to the same level in anything that I have to use a graphic interface with.
The big questions are going to be DVS, sound-card compatibility, stability, and response. What they are trying to offer looks pretty fantastic.
I just want to know more.

…I like that it is like Ableton where you can customize it to fit your style…in a way.

I find the whole concept pretty cool.
I think what I like the most is the integration of two tools within a single software, now It depend how you want to use it… if this bummer allows VST & some sort of Rewire thing, then It could be really sick… but still not a must have if you already have your own worflow with, let’s say Ableton/Traktor/Serato/Maschine whatever else DVS+DAW/Groove box.
I wish them luck. It introduce some serious food for thought and new “fresh ideas” that’s for sure.
Competition is good. Hopefully it makes its way out of beta.
