The Real Diplo
i felt this needed to be posted here, as i know there are a lot of diplo/mad decent supporters here. basically, diplo won’t be coming to ATL anytime soon, and if he does, not on good terms, and probably won’t be headlining. here’s why:
early 2010 - LUDACHRIST aka Knick (of evol intent) and Ewun release “Pon De Foley”, an awesome mashup.
sometime recently - people get wind of a Diplo “remix” that was sold to DJ Hero 2 (apparently for $500 + mechanicals), and realize it’s a blatant rip off of Ludachrist.
- a shit storm breaks lose on youtube/atl dnb forum, Diplo/MD shit talk begins.
- a big promoter (the same group who brought major lazer the last time they came) steps in the conversation and speaks up for ludachrist.
this is where it starts looking stupid for Diplo.
a twitter back-and-forth begins, and here is where i lose all respect i ever had or will have for this guy:

he obviously didn’t realize who he was talking to. or maybe he did. either way, what kind of person are you when you’re a dick to people you don’t even know? how can someone be so blinded by fame that they act in such a way?
and most importantly, YOUR FAVORITE PRODUCER IS A 12 YR OLD.
