So, what do you guys think we have in store for music this new year?
I think that we’re going to see more brostep/skrillex/electro stuff in the top 40, everyone will get tired of prog house anthems and move on to something else,and (i hope) that techno,tech-house, and deep house will start speeding up the bpm and start implementing some of the older synth sounds.
Mm. IMO, there is still a lot of room to work with avicii, shm, alesso, dirty south… But I think that the really electroey trance is going to come through (Garth emery, abo etc) so yeah.
That’s where the masses are going to be I reckon. Plus your Rihanna and Dare I say, num1dj in all the land (;
But yeah. My 2 cents

people like steve aoki and avicii and dare i say axwell and steve and seb will start working with people like rihanna (although she made a smart move by getting calvin to produce her shit; hes a genius) and people like britney spears, you’ll start hearing ‘dub’ influence in more and more pop songs, if skrillex wins best new artist at the grammies we’ll all no whats in store.
i hope this doesnt happen, idk if i can deal with a year of this.
apparently sources say that jusitin bieber wants to release a ‘rap-dubstep’ album and is supposedly going to work with david guetta, afrojack and skrillex. fml.
