These speakers: worth it?

I’m wondering what you guys think about these speakers and using them for an at home sound system.

For 40 bucks, would that be good? Would the connections be fine when connecting it up to my Audio 2 DJ and my VCI-100 and all that? I don’t have my equipment because I live in New York, not Boston but I’m visiting a relative here in Boston and was trolling the craigslist offers when I saw them and I need some speakers as I’ve been doing my mixing in my headphones or off my computer stereos :roll_eyes:

So ya.. that’s my life story

half the price… hmmm… I’m not looking for anything to crazy in my house, seeing as anything would be a step up from my computer speakers

Those second ones look like crap. If the JBL’s work, and don’t buy them without testing them, offer him $30.

K I’ll skip out on the second ones. I’m going to check out the JBL’s tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully the guy’s not sketchy or anything. Who knows he might even be a DJ of sorts!

What should I test it with? My ipod? my computer? because I don’t have my cable or sound card with me…

Your going to have to have an amp or stereo to run those. They won’t hook to your ipod or computer.

Alright so I guess I’ll just have to have the guy play some music for me or something. Or just bring some of my own music for him to play.
