This is why I hate facebook groups!
This page has a lot of hatred towards digital DJ’ing (Traktor / Virtual DJ / Serato). I have posted up ‘breakfast of champions’ video and the owner keeps deleting it in denial.
Feel free to spread the word of controllerism and digital mixing!

There is always going to be the battle between traditionalists and those open for a changing future. And really, people who have been spinning on vinyl forever ARE generally the ones running parties, or at least involved in the scene for a long time. It takes time to open up to new ideas.
Maybe that particular facebook group isn’t the place to aggressively push controllerism?
I’m kinda surprised they haven’t caught on the DVS bandwagon yet though. The only people I know who are really opposed to that, are straight-up hip-hop guys.
It looks like a few of the people complaining aren’t even DJs.
im sure violinists feel the same way about vinyl djs 
“your not a musician, your just someone who plays music made by others and makes wiki wiki sounds”.
obviously theres a lot more to vinyl djing than that, but a violinist probably wouldn’t see that. in the same way theres ALOT more to digital djing than pressing sync and but alot of vinyl purists don’t see it (or maybe they don’t want to).

plus most peeps on his site are kids and it claims teens im not a teen
