Thoughts on DJ names…
Ok, my real name is Tony Skitini.
I use it to DJ (well, I used it before I took a break, I’m only just coming back in to it)
I think it’s a good name to DJ with, it has a continental feel about it and is individual, compared to say, Tony Smith, lol.
Lately I have been thinking that I might take up an alias, a DJ name, and have come up with:
Mucky Tuppence/DJ Mucky Tuppence.
I am not sure if I should go with it or stick with my actual name…
For those of you who don’t know what a mucky tuppence is:

My wife used the term, it gives me lols. My mates think it’s excelelent and I know it would be easier to market, get a logo, promotional branding, that kind of thing…Tuppence is 2p in monetary terms.
Go with your real name. It works.
both real and made up now are cooler than being a Dave!

Depends on the genre really in my opinion. Some like silly names, some don’t.
Breakcore adores the silliest of names. Today I’ve been listening to Ladyscraper, Shitmat, Servants of the Apocalyptic Goat Rave and DJ Scotch Egg
I had no idea ‘tuppence’ meant that in urban slang lol.
Just remember that while it might have been in use in “olde England”, it wasn’t really that long ago and anyone from the British Isles will immediately think of a dirty two pence piece. I did

For what it’s worth I think your real name is interesting enough to use.
