You only hear it when it is on in your headphones and for the track you’re cueing. Don’t you?
When I’ve had this issue, the cue mix knob has been turned all the way to master (to the right). Make sure that isn’t the case…
I don’t have a mixer just keyboard and traktor pro 2.5
No headphones either. Just straight program.
I thought you could hear it from the laptop speakers. Not the case?
so why posting that question in the s2/s4 forum??
the tick is sent to the output selected in the output monitor box, preferences-output routing.
Moved to general discussion.
Make sure your preferences > output settings you are listening to preview rather than master.
Change built in output in the drop down menus to preview
thanks ill go try now.
i did post in the native instruments forum and they moved it here for some reason.
edit: went into preferences > output tab. Im on internal mixing.
Doesn’t say anything about “preview” or “master”
After upgrading it says my “DEMO TRACKS”
Are corrupted or missing files. This upgrade sucks ass. How can i go back to a previous version i hate this new upgrade they made things worse. This is frustrating.
Preferences > Output Routing >
Mixing Mode = Internal
Output Monitor = L 1:Output L / R2: Ouptut R
Output Master = L Not connected / R Not Connected
Output Record = L Not connected / R Not Connected
When listening to the song make sure the headphone cue button for the deck is on
Previous versions saved in a back up folder Documents > Native Instruments > Tractor 2.1.3 etc
Your demo content may have moved. Do a search by name in finder / spotlight for some of missing content. You may have to move it 2.5 folder. Just guessing
Native Instruments and DJTT have nothing to do with each other. If the post is here, you made it here.
He means the native instruments s2/s4 sub forum on here ![]()
Yes ^^
this wasn’t posted in the general discussion.
Anyways.
Open up Documents. Native instruments.
I click the 2.1.2 folder. ( thats the version i want )
I then click the Backup folder. It shows the Collection folder. I click on collection folder.
Shows bunch of native instruments collection folders or applications not sure what to call them. Anyways i click on any of them. They instantly open up the program traktor. But still says traktor 2.5 when i hit “about” and still has the crappy remix decks down at the bottom.
Okay, I got it now. This has nothing to do with and S3 or S4 so I moved it to general.
Alright good job. Anyways London, UK man. Since you know how to help me ill wait for a response.
Thanks for helping me, I’m stuck on reverting back as you can see. :graghh:
Or if i could move the missing files into the new upgrade that will work.
Not sure how to locate the missing files.
OK so to launch an old version of traktor you actually you need to go into:
Applications > Native Instruments > Traktor 2 > Back Up > Traktor 2.1.3 (or whatever version you have)
Launch it.
Is all your old stuff there Demo etc? Now right click on a track and choose show in finder.
So it’s probably in Library > Application Support > etc
OK I think the demo content moving is a bug in the upgrade http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?p=861191
I’m just trying to fix manually.
I think with 2.5.0 I suspect you need to re-download all the demo content via the service centre.
If you launch ServiceCenter (Applications > Native Instruments > ServiceCentre ) and click on the Update Tab and see under Content Downloads and Updates and download from there. Should also have remix deck content.
Once it’s downloaded copy the factory sounds folder to Music > Traktor > Content Import
Then open traktor navigate to the playlist and rightclick on a track and choose relocate. Now go to Music > Traktor > Content Import > Traktor_200_FactorySounds and find the same file name.
It’s long but if you do this one by one it’ll work.
EDIT: SUCCESS!!! OK You can actually do the whole folder in one go. When trying to relocate, instead of doing the track one by one hold shift and click the top and bottom songs in the playlist to select all the songs. Then right click and choose relocate. Then navigate to the Traktor_200_FactorySounds folder (you should have moved it to Music > Traktor > Content Import) and just choose that folder (even if the indiviidual tracks look greyed out) that should recontect them.
Man I never even use that content but that was bugging me
But the original post was about the click (remember) did that work what I said before?
S3!? Interesting… let the rumor mill begin ![]()

wow that seems difficult. i will give it a try when i get home from work.
hook me up with a s3. i want one
Not really. I was working it out as i wrote it.
Download content via service center
Copy it into the right place
Open up traktor
Select all the songs in the loop playlist
Right click and select relocate
Navigate to the folde and boom
Took me 5 mins once I worked it out.
You’re welcome btw ![]()
