Timecode in Ableton?

Timecode in Ableton?

Haven’t given this a play yet, but it’s interesting: http://www.stagecraftsoftware.com/digital-dj/two-turntables-and-a/

This is horrible news. If it works really well I will be forced to by a set of turntables…

Is this any different to running Deckadance or Ms Pinky as a vst?

Don’t know Deckadance (other than it’s Image-Line’s DJ software) or Ms Pinky - do they offer timecode control?

Yes they do and they were the first timecodes to work with Ableton.

This looks really intriguing! In my experience Ms. Pinky is very limited, it’s great for scratching small samples but if you’re wanting to do actual time-code mixing look elsewhere. I could never get Deckadance to run in Ableton without constantly crashing.

I would love to try Ms Pinky. It comes with max/msp externals which could be a lot of fun.

The main diference is full automation in scratch track (against the other systems)

Has deckadance full automation? Including vinyl movement vector?
