To all you experts…

Hi guys, I come to you because I am new to this scene and you guys are not and then obviously know shit tons more than I do.

So here is the thing. I am looking into purchasing a DJ controller/Midi controller. I don’t want to even bother with the “beginner” models because I think that would just be a massive waste of money in the long run. I have been doing quite a bit of research and I have my eye on two models.

The AA VMS4. Looking around the forums here it looks like this is really gonna be the shit.

(for those who have not seen it.)

The other one comes from DJ-tech. I know that they are not the best quality, but this really does not look too shabby at all. The Hybrid 202.

I have not been able to find reviews on it, but the videos I have seen make it seem pretty good.

Sorry if you guys have already read a billion other new peoples pleas for help. But you will really help me decide.

My Vote: Get the VMS4 buddy. We’re getting one soon with the adition of two X1’s. Welcome to the community btw :slight_smile:

That’s what I was leaning towards. With alot of these models there just seems to be so much information out there and so many opinions. It’s the complete opposite with the Hybrid 202, it’s like no one has ever used it before!

So if anyone has, what have been your thoughts about it?

The vms4, im using a numark stealth and an oxygen8. the touch sensitive platter is legit, not to mention 4 faders and full eq.

The only thing that kinda pulls me towards the hybrid are those two Kontrol Ones. I have heard they kick ass.
