To Zomo or Not to Zomo?
I can’t decide :-\ most clubs around here don’t use DJM-style mixers, so I’m kinda missing out on that aspect of its appeal, but I DO like the idea of having something REALLY small to rock up to a venue with. Just not sure if I’d miss the jogwheels.

Zomo + Ipad might be win win as a high quality tiny rig if its a class compliant soundcard in the zomo
*Just says core audio for Mac and no driver download so bets are its class compliant, nice

I really don’t see the appeal if you compare it with an X1.

Built in soundcard ?
I personally do prefer the horizontal layout rather than vertical.
This. Never liked the idea of having my filter knobs one above the other, makes manipulating multiple filters at once a pain in the arse :-/
I did look at the Vestax, but didn’t particularly like the aesthetics on it… is there anything else out there even remotely similar to the Zomo?
Is that class compliant..? Its coreAudio. Be interested to know.
really? I know it’s Maya 44 architecture.
I have my beauty right here. What do you want me to test?
Denon one looks interesting, although no filter knobs I might just buy the Zomo, see how it feels and then decide whether or not to keep it. Just need to hunt down a reasonably priced used one now haha.
EDIT: AFAIK, the MIDI on all of these is class-compliant, the audio stuff is typically supported natively as WASAPI/CoreAudio, with additional ASIO support for some devices.
If it works with Traktor DJ app dude. Would be prefect if they implemented midi functionality for a little setup.
If you have an iPad and Midi Monitor app and connect it with the camera kit and Midimon shows midi input it should be class compliant.

Don’t suppose you have a copy of the VCM firmware? Managed to wipe mine already..
P.S. the NI power supply works for the VCM/VCI 100s too.
I’d pick a Xone K2 over that any day.

I have done years without jogs, trust me, you don’t need 'em.
How do you line up the tracks; with a rotary encoder?

Seek for large changes, pitch bend for small.
Easily. I have seek encoders mapped on my K2. Thats how i get around not having jogs.
I had seek encoders mapped on my Faderfox DX2 years ago.
Firmware? Do you mean the audio card drivers?
I’ve never heard of the firmware and I can’t find anything online.
Did it come on a disc in the box?
