My Club Setup is a little more modern, Running 2 CDJ-1000’s, A Traktor Z2, a Traktor X1 & Shure Wireless SLX2 mic. I use a Traktor audio 6 to route my audio into a live broadcast, and to add Audio control to my Light Jockey System.
I use the X1 For Effects and transport controls on tracks C & D,
I have the Z2 setup to control effects 1 & 2, With the X1 Setup to control effects bars 3 & 4. It’s a great little piece of equipment to have on the side if your not looking for scratch control of decks C & D, the added hotcue button is fantastic,
You should trim some of the fat from your Traktor UI. You don’t need the mixer stuff or the global settings. I love Traktor, but my biggest gripe (and I’ve said this to the NI guys directly) is the default UI is way too busy.
I feel the same way, mixer in traktor layout is not necessary if you already have a physical mixer but for some people they just want it there just because. in the end it all comes down to user preference
