Sadly that’s pretty much the case - they’re unlikely to post new drivers, and if the old ones don’t work you’re probably out of luck. If Torq is your tool of choice you should down-grade your MacOS to a version that is known to work with it (pain in the ass but it can be done). But you might want to instead take a look at Traktor or other software that is still being supported.
I cant believe this. torq has been great for me for the 5 years i have used it. im so annoyed.
how the hell can i downgrade from mountain lion 10.8.2 to the previous version that worked with the connective
the m audio connectiv says it is connected and streaming audio but nothing plays does this sound like a driver issue, im running the tatest torq software and have done for ages with no trouble until i downloaded the new mac update
their protools hd systems has been slowly losing grip on their previously “INDUSTRY STANDARD” (whatever) status, 10,000 dollars for a piece of “HD system” with limited inputs and outputs? come one man~ More studios have been finding more bang for their bucks with Logic Pro or Cubase systems, avid is slowly falling behind
unfortunately torq was a victim as it was owned by m-audio and then avid and then now its… dissolved to some other company or entirely discontinued? I Lost track of the progress but i think the torq is either already dead or dying a slow painful death - sadly!
I have had it working with mountain lion fine, but this new update 10.8.2 has done something somewhere and it doesnt work now, i cant even go back to an older version of mountain lion because i have not started using time machine.
how can i go back to an earlier version of mountain lion that i no works with torq/ connectiv
Just backed up my macbook overnight and was about to re-install osx lion. thought id try plugging into the connectiv and opening torq and it only works???
just had an hours mix. i cant believe it…who wants a battle? hahaha
