Touch OSC + iPad tethering
Hey guys, I was just wondering if anybody knows whether it’s true that you can wire your ipad to your computer for use with core midi with the camera connection kit?
I don’t think it works wired. CoreMIDI works perfectly fine wirelessly.

you need the camera kit a usb to midi cable and a midi interface.
I just don’t trust my computer/iPad’s wifi network haha. I don’t want it to drop out mid set.
How much better is it wired than wireless tommy? Worth it?
Can anyone comment? Is it any better latency wise?
are you using a mac?
createing a ad-hoc network is the best thing to do when going wireless
but if i am honest i cant tell the difference between wireless and wired both are like 1ms
and i have never had any drop outs or anything just did a 3 hour set then wireless and it is fine
ok sweet, i normally use an ad-hoc network haha. was just a little worried about it dropping out
I experience some packet loss with wireless but I’m still using windows… Mac is coming next week
