TP2 Serial # limit?

TP2 Serial # limit?

So last weekend my macbook was knocked off a table and the screen lvds cable broke / dislodged. I thought it would be fixed for my gig tomorrow, but it is not. My question is this, can I install TP2 on my girlfriends computer using the same serial #? I plan on getting a new macbook pro by the end of the year, and would obviously want to install it on there as well. Is there a limit to the # of installs per serial #? Wanted to check on here before I even ask to borrow her computer lol.
Thanks!

Should be able to put it on at least 2 machines (I’ve done it). Well, w/ Traktor Pro. I doubt they’ve changed that.

Sorry to hear about your Macbook. That sucks.

You get 2 installs with each serial number.

right on, thanks. Guess it’s best to lug an external flat screen monitor to the booth rather than burn one of my installs lol

you can always remove one of the serial #s from the dead macbook and put it on your gfs and your new one… using your 2

Or just uninstall it from your girlfriends computer when you’re done with it. You get unlimited installs, but you can only have it on two computers at a time.

Hasn’t changed since the last time asked

2 installs at a time

i’ve done more that 2, cuz I have several lappy and a mac mini I use at home. I’ve never had a problem with it. I wouldn’t recommend it but its worth a try.

Just another reason why i like SSL. Sorry I had to throw that in there.

sorry man, i know that my typing is horrible…

I know its frowned upon but I think this is the perfect situation for having a cracked copy. If I own the license for the software I just dont have the patience to jump thru hoops to install on a backup

another reason to use ssl? you own the hardware and the software now you have to prey that the service center gods give you permission to continue.

Preaching to the choir man. Big serato itch fan. I did buy a used audio 4 just for ableton and maschine, but since I owned it I thought I would give traktor another shot - turned into a big headache because the last owner never unregistered.
