Track markers

Can anyone explain to me how to put track markers in to mix that you have recorded. I’m fed up listening to something I’ve recorded all the way through (could be up to 3 hours).

I’m aware this is a noob question, but I had a look on the search function and didn’t come up with anything. The only editing software I have is Nero 8 and Audicity (freeware).

can’t you limit the recording file size on traktor? if so isn’t there a way to use that?

also i think i read something somewhere about having it so traktor makes a new recording each time you move the crossfader fully?
